The Agua-Tek Pulse Test Unit – PTU
The PTU is a handheld device that will read and display the flow rate from sensors on water meters, such as the PR6/7. It can be set for various flow rates, from 0.5L per pulse to 1000L per pulse, can display in cubic/metres per hour and litres per second, and can show either a real time value, or a running total.
As well as reading pulses, it also provides a pulse output, from two of the terminals on the top, the other two terminals accept pulse input, as do the two milspec connectors (Cello and Radcom). By default the pulse output is one pulse per second, but this can be altered from the customer settings.
